How to load a van
Get your stuff
Get your stuff: cardboard boxes, packaging tape, cellophane, airball wraps, plastic wraps, trolley, straps.
Load the appiances
Start with the biggest ones: defrost the fridge (at least two days before), empty the washing machine and the dishwasher. Load these ones first, by wrapping them them with blankets or cellophane, blocking them with straps, so they won't move while driving.
Load the heavy pieces of furniture
After the appliances, load the heavy furniture: start by spreading an old blanket or some cellophane where you are going to place each piece of furniture, if possible, disassemble each piece of furniture before loading them on the van and take good advantage of the space, put the beds' furniture, mattresses, wardrobes and bookshelves vertically on the van's wall inside.
Get some packaging boxes
Use mattresses and cushions to protect delicate objects such as mirrors, paintings, tv's. The boxes must be placed from the van floor to the ceiling, fitting them together in all the space, blocking them properly so so they won't move. Start the engine and go . Safe Journey.
