Sicily by Car is the technical sponsor of the event dedicated to World Mental Health Day in Palermo, organized by the Tommaso Dragotto Foundation and scheduled for October 10, 2024. For the first time, a major event, set to recur every October 10 in the coming years, will place the issue of mental health at the center of public and media attention, recognizing it as one of the major ailments of modern society.
Unlike other illnesses, unfortunately, mental health disorders still face strong distrust that marginalizes and isolates those affected, relegating them to the fringes of society. This stigma has serious consequences not only for the recovery of the individuals involved but also for the families who deal with this challenge daily.
To support the event, Sicily by Car has provided vehicles from its fleet to meet all logistical and organizational needs, as well as transfers for all artists and staff involved in the initiative.
