The ZTL in Florence
The general road traffic rules are those in force in Italy. In Florence, as in other large Italian city centers, the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone)
is in force, a measure of environmental sustainability and protection of the historic center, which aims to reduce vehicular traffic to offer better livability of the metropolitan
areas concerned for citizens and tourists.
In these areas, access is provided to residents only, to those who have businesses or reside in hotels and have booked parking in the garages.
To avoid administrative sanctions, we suggest that you inform yourself in time on the website of the Municipality of Florence about the prohibitions on the
access of cars in these areas.
Our electric cars allow free circulation in restricted areas (ZTL) as long as they are previously included in the white list.
Therefore, consider that, if you want to visit the historic center without going too far from the city, an electric vehicle could be the ideal choice.
