The ZTL in Bologna
Bologna has a large ZTL area (Limited Traffic Zone) which limits traffic in some areas to specific times and days and in others completely prohibits access to motor vehicles.
The aim is to reduce CO2 polluting emissions in compliance with recent environmental directives. We therefore suggest you take a look at the website of the Municipality of Bologna,
which is always updated on the latest traffic ordinances.
The rules recognise free access to electric cars, provided to previously communicate the licence plate and request the badge. These can also be parked for free
in the spaces delimited by the blue stripes.
